HOW TO CUT BACK YOUR ORTHOTICS

  • Follow the video instructions below.

  • Once the orthotics are in your shoes, try them on. The orthotics should feel weird, not uncomfortable (to begin with).

  • If you are new to wearing orthotics, please slowly build up your time wearing the orthotics in your shoes, increasing your time in them by two hours per day.

  • If you feel any level of discomfort whilst wearing them, take them out of your shoes. Put them back into your shoes the following day, not increasing the time that you wear them. The next day you can start to increase your time in them again by two hours if you are feeling better in them.

  • It takes approx 7-10 days to get used to the new feeling of wearing them, like getting used to wearing prescription glasses.

  • If you have any questions or problems, please email info@sportspodiatrists.com.au
